The Top Gear Live Stunt Team wowed spectators at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban at the Top Gear Festival over the weekend. The team successfully completed the world’s first double loop-the-loop dubbed the 'Deadly 720', setting a world record for the stunt.
Two giant metal loops standing eight meters apart were used for the stunt. A modified buggy was used to complete the stunt and was required to maintain a speed of between 38km/h and 42km/h to prevent it falling out at the top of the loops. Spectators cheered when the stunt was successfully completed. Here is the video of the world’s first double loop-the-loop from the Top Gear Festival in Durban, enjoy.
